I have learned (and continue to learn) over the past eight years on what has and hasn’t worked in the photography industry. How to create an environment for my sessions to roll with my creative style. To draw in my ideal client base and deliver them with the best content I can. This has not been an easy task, but it has been the most rewarding. There is so much to learn about who you are as a creator in this industry – you will grow exponentially if you allow it. The fact that you are reading about a mentorship shows your desire to pursue this passion as a career.

BACK TO THE BASICS:
My belief is that if you want this profession to be a lifelong career – take it slow. It's a continuous learning curve and the industry is always changing. Learning as much as you can and growing your knowledge will only ever benefit you. Meaning, each year decide on what you need to focus on the most and make sure you put that into effect. Sit Down - One on One:
3 Hours
This is done online via Zoom or in person. Let’s go over your website, social media, branding and wording on these platforms. Send or bring a handful of images via Dropbox to edit together. I will use LR presets and Photoshop tools and actions to help achieve an edit you desire. Let’s look at your emails, communication material and how to attract clients from the moment they reach out to you. I will show you how I style sessions. Where I shop, and how to achieve your dream aesthetic! This will be a 3-hour conversation, but it doesn’t end there, I promise. You can follow up with me any time after our session.

Sit Down - One on One
& Styled Session:
4 Hours
Following our IN-DEPTH sit down at a local coffee joint (2 hours), we will go to a styled shoot curated by Emily Nicole Photo during golden hour. We can arrange any shoot of your choosing. From a fun portrait session, commercial work, families, couples, etc. Whatever you feel like you'd like to most improve on. Say you want to improve on your posing for portraits, we will try to find two locations and/or two outfits for this shoot after our sit down! This is very specifically designed to meet all of your needs. We can always do it reverse too, shoot then regroup and look at the work you shot. I am here to help answer any and all questions you may have.
